The Greenberg Law Firm
Jeffrey T. Greenberg was born in New Orleans in 1961. Prior to completing a bachelor’s degree from Tulane University in 1991, he worked full time in his family’s optical business, Vision Plaza. Mr. Greenberg also worked part time as a drummer/musician in a local band.
Upon completion of his undergraduate coursework, Mr. Greenberg chose to leave the band in favor of pursuing a law degree. He began attending law school in the evenings while continuing to work days at the family optical business and received a law degree from Loyola University in 1994.
After admission to the Louisiana State Bar in 1995, Mr. Greenberg continued to work at Vision Plaza, assuming the roles of Vice President, General Counsel, and Lease Coordinator. His work focused on negotiation of retail leases with major shopping malls and contracts with Managed Care Organizations and health care providers. Mr. Greenberg’s efforts in these areas contributed to the business achieving the status of largest optical chain in Louisiana.
Mr. Greenberg received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from Tulane University in 1991. He completed his Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from Loyola University School of Law, in 1994. While attending Loyola, Mr. Greenberg was a member of the Moot Court staff, and earned the outstanding achievement award in Employee Remedies.
